Rohr did not have a good world cup. Always reactionary. Everyone knew 3-5-2 was best and he started with four at the back in the first match.
Everyone that knows that team knew that Ebuehi was a better option at left wing back (or left back in a back four) but no, he loves the Idowu fella.
Ighalo is an absolute wastepipe yet he keeps bringing him on over Nwankwo who can at least provide a moment of unexpected stuff.
Then the subs. The fucking subs or lack thereof. What. the fuck.
Musa runs his legs off and you don't think it might be a good idea to bring Iwobi in by the 70th or 75th minute.
Argentina bring in an extra striker in Aguero and you don't' think it might be a good idea to throw in an extra defender?
Fucking ridiculous.
 
Also, I can't wait for France vs Argentina. The Argentinian fans can keep celebrating but Sampaoli will still be there on Saturday to do idiotic things like continuing his lovefest with Perez and Meza. At least he had no option but to start Armani but France won't be as forgiving as Nigeria was today and Deschamps for all his faults won't be as silly with his subs as Rohr. Argentina better hope Messi "keeps that same energy" for Saturday or else....
 
yeh Rohr's game management is trash

when it was getting to the last 10mins of the game which you could see Argies were desperate as they had to score, he should have brought on another defender to counteract the aguero sub.

he had one job to do then, play out for the draw and that's it...why after you go 2-1 down, do you then start making your 2nd and 3rd subs of the game?!
 
Argentina were there for the takin' after the penalty but can't fault Nigeria for the last half hour.

Was a clear handball for me although it should have been moot cah Igahlo had time and space in the box

Because you know they changed the formation and a couple of players after that game so I'm not sure what you saw that others saw.
Keep in mind they lost by one goal, had a striker on that is more wasteful than Higuain and pretty much the entire Moroccan strike force all together.
They also had a hand ball in the box on Rojo which changed the trajectory of the ball and deprived said striker of an easy finish (which knowing him he might have wasted) or a penalty which might have made the match end 2-2.

So I'm not sure how you knew they weren't capable of getting the job done. Did you know the coach would be an utter moron with his subs? If so then you're on top of things.

What was the end result? I wouldn't even waste time going in depth on this. The 2 games prior said it all.

Are you trolling or you really being daft? Since you mentioned "end result", Did they lose the 2nd of the two games you mentioned? What was the end result of that match?
I'm guessing if you have no analysis to provide as to why you came to your conclusion then there's no point talking. Carry on bruh.

You quoted me lol. Iceland was the weakest in the group. The end result is that they lost today like I knew they would.

Sure thing bud. Sounds like you're a tad salty as you're dealing with Messi only fans or fans of both players on here and I provided reasonable analysis of both without favoring one or the other.
P.S. I'm a United supporter so that should clear up how I feel about CR7. I try to remain a fan without feeling the need to overstan or nuthug ....but you do you.

Nah fam. I write for a living that's why the long posts :) My bad about that. I tell myself "ok this post will be concise" and then 3 paragraphs later...

TBH I stay level headed about United. Try not to get too high or low.
Also, ain't no 5/6 year title drought(if we talking all competitions) since we got the FA Cup two seasons ago. Title wise? Well shiid, it's not as bad as being an Arsenal or even worse...a Spurs supporter.

Croatia- They've come together at the right time despite lack of support from their fans before the tournament
France- Argentina's gonna be on a high from the victory today but France will bring em back down.
Spain- Russia is going to get that work.
That last one is tough. My head says Uruguay in extra time or even pens but the heart says Portugal and Cristiano get it done.
 
That Argentina-Nigeria game was tense lol ooof. Argentinans at work went crazy. They're smug bastards but it's all about that Latin Excellence. I hope Mexico goes to work tomorrow
