Frank will be fine. They have over £300m of loan players coming back (according to Sky) that are young and hungry.

Like Roman, I expect them to be in the top 4.

Then imagine he didn't play for Chelsea. Think of him as just a young manager who had a good debut season and lucked out with a big job

The thing is, that would never happen... A massive club like Chelsea would not just hire a young unproven manager who has had one decent season (his only season) in charge at club in the EPL and didnt even get them promoted...

Booooy they do in other countries. Look at Milan. Inzaghi, Seedorf, Gattuso. Allegri wasn't a big shot manager before Milan gave him a shot. He done well and ended up at Juve.

This is how is supposed to work but English clubs don't do it.

Allegri has been a manager since the early 00's and spent time in Italy's second div before stepping up team by team before spending ages at Millan and then Juve, he did his apprenticeship like most conventional managers...

Plus Serie A is nowhere near has tough as the EPL in terms of the battle for CL spots or which is owners expect, the EPL is a different beast... Teams really cant afford to not make the CL spots and if they have a run of bad games its pretty much game over... Serie A is more forgiving in the fact your CL hopes arnt dashed with a run of bad games, same with La Liga...

So was/has Big Sam, Martin O'Neil, Bruce and a bunch of other guys who have managed top flight d'or ages and didn't get a big club shot.

I wanna be clear when I say I'm not sayin' these managers are better than the guys we big clubs hired, and I'm not sayin' I want these guys at United.

But I am sayin' these guys would have got a big club job if they were Italians in Italy.

Inzaghi got fired within 1 year at Milan after finish 11th, hes then dropped down the leagues as a manager... Hes not exactly a good example of jumping in at a big club...

Seedorf last a few months at Milan, then a few months in China, then a month in Brazil and then few months at Deportivo...

With Gattuso he pretty much did an apprenticeship as manager starting in 2011 and working his way up to Milan, first with the youth and then the mens team, but again he last barely two seasons after not landing a CL spot...

Maybe in Italy, they are decent managers and Martin O'Neil has won a fair big as a manager, but they are EFL/bottom half of the EPL standard managers imo... They know how to get promoted and survive in the EPL but never really made that extra push to the 'second half' of the EPL table, I think their styles are outdated too... Not every manager who does an apprenticeship is gonna be great, not every manager who jumps in the deep end (like say Pep) is gonna fail...

Im just saying imo promising its good for managers to learn the ropes for a few seasons atleast and experience adversity before they take a big job, because if you fail with great players at a big club it can ruin or take you ages to rebuild your reputation...

Fam Serie A CL spots fights are on untill the last game of the season, Juve obviously dominates the league but Napoli, Atalanta, AS n Lazio Roma, Inter and to a lesser extent AC Milano being going at it... And club owners are unforgiven, the likes of Allegri n Mancini were making the allusion that Klopp would have gotten fired if he didn't win the CL - which would have meant 3 trophy less seasons if he was a serie a coach...

Juve, Roma (not this year though lol) and Napoli are pretty much nailed on for a CL spot, that leaves one more space... AC have been struggling (see Inzaghi, Seedorf, Gattuso) but then its Inter and Atalanta... Yes as we see with AC most owners in football are unforgiven, but if you hit the CL spot you should be safe...

Tell that to Spalletti lol...and eventhough Allegri didn't get sacked he got forced out after getting knocked out the CL by Ajax...league is a damn managerial graveyard

Seedorf didn't get a fair chance at Milan and he had to bounce back via Deportivo La coruna years later to be taken serious as a manager once again... At the Africa Cup with Cameroun now.

Let's see how Super Frank gets treated by the press n Chelsea board when he has two draws in a row lol.
