No my point was that La Ligue is won by Barca and R.Madrid other than those 3 occasions in the last 20 years.

In the last 20 years Man U have won 9 times, Arsenal twice, Chelsea 5 times and Man City 3 times and Leicester once. The PL is much more competitive than La Ligue. So if Barca or Madrid win the treble, it's a lot easier to do. PL is only 27 years old.
Lol you're mixing the name of the Spanish and French league

Not sure how the top flight in the UK has ever been a 'two team' league. Utd just won it more than anyone else. And Liverpool are a very close second. But plenty of teams have won the league.

Who was united competition during the premiere League era ?

Arsenal couldn't compete financially

93 Aston villa finished second
94 Blackburn
95 Blackburn won it
96 newcastle
97 Newcastle
98 arsenal won it

That's when it became a 2 team league 04 Chelsea started challenging and could compete financially arsenal faded away

You talking about the period when the class of 92 came into fruition? All home grown players that came through the academy. Utd had a legendary manager who was able to adapt with the times.

This isn't really fair tho coz Utd weren't dominate in the 80s. We were the best team in the 90s coz we had the best manager. Those teams all spent big to try to win the league, its not like they are now

Best manager but you still had the history and financial backing to do it Blackburn could only up keep for 2 seasons

How many those teams could sign Cole Kean York etc? Then Rio Veron etc

None of this changes the facts. Barca, Madrid and Bayern all have more trophies than UTD but all play in much less competitive leagues. This has to be taken into account when comparing the clubs history.

The fact we were winning means we were able to buy top players, United, Arsenal, Liverpool and Spurs are organic teams its Chelsea that changed the game with their take over then City followed suit and the EPL went bat schitt crazy ... But going back to the 90s early 00's youre forgetting half our team was from the academy too and we sold top players at their peak to recoup money (aka beckham)... From 90 to 00 plenty of other teams were breaking transfer records...

Would things have changed if let’s say Blackburn stayed competitive after winning the EPL or if Newcastle didn’t choked away their chance?
