Nah Im hearing its the Pelicans holding it up, they arent trying to pick up his contract for next year

I don't understand not picking up his contract for next year. He's making what? 12 mil? I think that's about what he's worth and if Boogie walks the Pels will at least have another front court option to turn too.

they are afraid of the notion of having to pay the luxury tax which, i mean, is crazy b/c you can still shed salary throughout the year to get under the cap

But they will be paying luxury tax on a team that at best will be 4th or 5th in the West. That aint smart.
