If Vincent is right about that trade then that means we have to play Asik and Felacio minutes, the tank is strong again. In a few weeks Cam Payne comes back so we have another trash guard to go along with Holiday and Grant to get more losses.

Not sure if Asiks 10mil off the books is worth a 1st rounder. Wonder what year the 1st rounder is.

They also get Niko though, which makes it a bit more even since they need scoring and more importantly shooting really bad.

well, if you dont trust them to draft and develop a player, then why keep the pick?

they are not bad enough to get a top pick. If the bulls are essentially tanking, it helps both teams

Good. Stop giving away 1st round picks for rentals. Even if it takes Asik contract off the books.

Can the narrative that the Pelicans need more shooters stop. Any and every team can use shooters. They need someone that can create their own shot.
The Pelicans have the 12th best 3p%, 5th in the league in scoring, 2nd in fg% and 13th in 3p made.

What they need is for Hill and Allen to get back for defense. And more production from the bench. Scoring, FG%, and assist will drop with Boogie out. They can make it up with defending and stop having 9 point 3rd quarters.
