Offenses and defenses are both more sophisticated than they used to be.
You have players that can literally guard all 5 positions.
Don't get me wrong there are a lot of things wrong with today's game, and we saw it last night, but as far as talent goes it's really not close.

lol @ all of this. I don't really want to get into an era vs era debate, but who cares if a defense is more "sophisticated" if in the other option the defender can actually bump and handcheck. GS goes up against the so-called sophisticated defenses all the time and shreds them. The two times we've seen them look vulnerable have been when Cleveland beat them by getting more physical and this past series where Houston got a little more physical. If that ticky tack shit was too much for GS, how they hell would they accomplish anything in the 80s, 90s, or even oos.

I’ve checked out some mock drafts and it looks like the consensus is with the 8th pick we should have a choice of Collin Sexton, Micheal Porter Jr, or Trae Young.

The trash ass chicago bulls pick ahead of us and I’m sure they’re going to reach since they so fucking trash...I expect them to pick Trae Young. And that would leave us picking Collin Sexton (who I prefer) or Micheal Porter Jr...I ain’t mad at that at all.
