So no one was gonna talk about Eboue here huh???

Emmanuel Eboue bailed: Ex-Arsenal defender faces investigation over 'malicious communications' but no further action on arson claims

Former Arsenal star Emmanuel Eboue has been bailed after his arrest outside a home on Saturday afternoon.

The ex-Ivory Coast international was detained by police in the Enfield area at around 5pm.
He was arrested on suspicion of arson and 'malicious communications' and spent the night at a north London police station.

The 35-year-old has this evening been bailed.

A Scotland yard spokesman said: "He has since been released with no further action in respect of the arson allegation.

"He has been bailed for further enquiries in relation to the other offences."

Malicious communications is defined as 'sending letters or other communications with intent to cause distress or anxiety.'

Friends are understood to be concerned for the former full-back's mental and emotional state.

Eboue's pals also fear he is unable to afford legal representation after being left broke following a failed appeal against his acrimonious divorce.

On Saturday night, police said a man was detained on suspicion of arson and malicious communications outside a home in Enfield.

A Met Police statement read at the time: "Police investigating an alleged arson at a residential address in Enfield on Saturday, 30 June, arrested a 35-year-old man on suspicion of arson and malicious communications outside the address at around 17:00hrs on Saturday, 7 July.

"He was taken to a north London police station where he currently remains."

In career terms, Eboue appeared to have been thrown a lifeline last month when he was invited to play for the Gunners' legends side at the Bernabeu in Spain.

He appeared alongside greats such as Nicolas Anelka, David Seaman, Sol Campbell and Ray Parlour for the star-studded charity match.

He made 214 appearances for Arsenal between 2004 and 2011 but has been unattached since leaving Sunderland in April 2016 having not made a single appearance for the Black Cats.

His situation remains fragile and there are concerns for his welfare.

The ex-Ivory Coast international told the Sunday Mirror last Christmas of his struggles since his playing days - admitting he had been homeless at times since his divorce.

Uruguay midfielder Lucas Torreira and France Under-20 international Matteo Guendouzi are set to have medicals at Arsenal on Monday.

"Jack Wilshere is a playmaker," Wenger said. "He is a bit of a Messi type. He makes me think about Mbappe because I played him at 17 years of age because he was an exceptional talent.

"Unfortunately he has been stopped very early by big injuries to his ankle, and I believe that now he's come out of it. He's an exceptional player -- he can pass people, he can give a final ball, he has a fantastic football brain.

"He is a great guy as well because when you have gone through what he has gone through medically you need to be mentally very strong. He can take pressure, believe me."

He knows.

There’s no argument if Juve win the CL. It’s done.

However it will be a PL team this coming season. I’m willing to bet now.
