Last week, Marcelo and Luka Modric were key players on the same team as Real Madrid defeated Liverpool to win a third consecutive Champions League trophy.
This weekend, they will be opponents, as Marcelo's Brazil take on a Croatia side featuring Modric in a World Cup warm-up - and there is a Liverpool connection again, with the game taking place at Anfield.
Club allegiances die hard however, with Modric and Marcelo seen hanging-out, laughing and joking together at the stadium, along with fellow Real team mates Mateo Kovacic of Croatia, and Brazilian Casemiro.
