He's a shapeshifter so that's not his natural form

ahhhh ok.

So safe to assume it's gonna be some who is Sauron every season? Im just guessing he gonna either go to the dwarves or the humans next to get the other rings made.

I never understood how his ring was to rule errbody else tho. Havent seen the movies in years

Wouldn't be shocked. Now that he's in Mordor and headed for Mount Doom, I wonder what happens to Adar. Adar doesn't recognize Sauron in that form as we saw a few episodes ago. He might be on borrowed time lol

I mean if you've never read the books or don't know the lore, then I can understand why some things don't bother you. But beyond any of that, my issue has always been the poor writing. I don't know how they could spend so much $$$ on a show and pick horrible writers.

The Peter Jackson movies also diverged from the source material so it's not that crazy.

Yeah, he definitely about to catch some blows when Sauron get there. I think Adar kind of knows though because he did ask him "Who are you?" in the barn scene.

I enjoyed this season. This does not have to follow the books 100% so I don't get that criticism. It does its job explaining how this all started. Its not a book, its a show so the writing is goung to be different.

That was awesome. I had a feeling it was him when he was helping to create the rings because someone I know who read the books told me the elfs used his technique to create the rings. My only thing is he's supposed to give the dwarfs and men rings. I don't know the timeline but I assumed the elfs made their rings after that

The comment the wizard made at the end about following your nose made me think that is Gandalf but I still keep thinking it might be Radagast

Also I liked the song in the credits

The elves created their rings last according to the source material

Now that's it's been established that the Stranger is a wizard, is it safe to say that he's Gandalf?
Might be Tom Bombadil or one of the blue wizards. In the books they are in middle earth in the second age

Gandalf and the other Istar (Saruman and Radagast) don’t show up till the third age

Bombadil only had powers in his realm, I think. I do want to see him, though.

Dope series. I'm ok with them not following source material to a tee. Its been a great season

The Stranger gotta be Gandalf or Saruman.

I was really hoping Poppy traveled with them

Looking forward to see how he trick the Dwarves into making their rings. Also him loosing the Balrog

several of yall book readers said saruman and gandalf wasnt even around in whatever age this is. Why you think its one them?

Seems like they not sticking to source which is fine by me

It being Gandalf would tie the series to the movies intimately. Always been a hobbit friend and bringing things full circle and such

I don't see a need to add any of the other wizards at this point

I feel like if Gandalf, Radagast, and Saruman aren't in this time zone then that'd be a legit complaint if the showrunners included them. Wonder if it's some magic user before their time. That'd be nice to include someone new that was before them

Nah

Just Sauron

Maybe im confused lookin at this wiki. One of them shits said that some of the Maiar became wizards. That would make sense to me since them Eminem ass niggas confused the stranger for Sauron cuz they are the same kinda being
