FEATURED The Government Is Running Out of Food Stamp Money

test
yo, ive noticed the regular grocery stores are operating a little differently....shutting down self check out aftet a certain time and forcing everyone througj one entrance with armed security...shit kind of hostile right now

Is that new in your area? 'Cause Walmart been doing that for over a decade. The hood Kroger near me has two entrances and one of them closes at 8pm and it's been that way for the last few years since I've been back in the area. The "nicer" Kroger stores in the area that have two self checkout sections will usually shut one of them down around 7-8pm. This was also the case when I was in Vegas and Phoenix so we're talking a minimum of 15 years.

from my timeline:

People are so dumb. Yes, that spending was probably some bullshit. But it is nowhere near the $185B they took out of SNAP. People are ok with Americans starving and having high ass healthcare premiums over a few million dollars in bullshit spending.

The point being made, I believe, is that this is the stuff that the Democrats are really holding up the spending bill over. The Republicans want to take out what they've deemed to be as wasteful spending (and, yeah... The shit they outlined in that clip is shit we don't need to be wasting money on), and the Democrats are not going to move forward unless they put it back. However, all we hear about in the news is the stuff about tax credits for healthcare and cuts to Medicaid, we're not hearing about the rest of the argument so it looks like the GOP is trying to make the poor poorer (they are, but not with this spending bill).

I haven’t don’t my research, but if they are really holding out for dance classes for Haiti male prostitutes then somebody needs to show the receipts.

The more plausible scenario to me anyway is that they are asking that foreign aid be added back, which they would infer includes the bullshit. Not that bullshit specifically.

I got no love for most of the Dems, but they've been consistent from the beginning that all they asked for to end this is for the Reps to extend the Healthcare credits. If they are lying, the easiest way to show they are lying is to call their bluff and extend those credits. The last thing I will do in this situation is believe a Rep making claims that not one Dem has said throughout this whole process.

i mean…they’ve been ignoring federal judges this far

I doubt they’ll stop now
They said all or some if I’m not mistaken. That would be some bullshit if they sent everyone a dollar or half of their benefits or some shit like that.

And they said as soon as possible. They could attempt to delay and try to spin it against democrats. They wouldn’t have their “it’s illegal to dip into those emergency funds” argument though.

If they did anything to not pay though it would be a terrible look so I think they’ll comply.
