Although Ice Hockey isn’t seen as popular in our culture that shit always looked fun as hell to me

From what I hear, actually GOING to a hockey game is the most fun you’ll ever have at a sporting event.

As for black kids and hockey…I wouldn’t say it’s the lack of interest but the ease in accessibility

A black kid can easily walk outside and see a basketball court, handball court and baseball field…football can easily be played in the streets and many boxing gyms are open to the youth

I don’t think I’ve ever seen ice hockey being highlighted in urban environments…at least where I’m from in NYC….you would REALLY have to love that shit

If more black people decided to take up ice hockey…we’d take over that shit
