It’s random, only four of my contacts came over even though I put all of them on google back up before I wiped my phone. Messager + , says it’s sending me a sms but I never get it, then I turn around and get the sms for confirmation of identity from Robinhood and Instagram. Whatsapp backed up on my old phone to the cloud. It can over to my new phone and the sms worked, but had absolutely none of my data but my profile. It like all that back and restore shit is a lie. Ima have to ask people that I should know their numbers but heart, what their numbers are.

oh and randomly some android users can’t text me, but they can get my texts

i ain’t very tech savvy but personally I’d take it to the apple store and get some answers, number transfers shouldn’t be an issue.

mid I remember correctly when I done it years ago it was a case of bluetooth being active on old and current phone and just let it all transfer.
