It’s random, only four of my contacts came over even though I put all of them on google back up before I wiped my phone. Messager + , says it’s sending me a sms but I never get it, then I turn around and get the sms for confirmation of identity from Robinhood and Instagram. Whatsapp backed up on my old phone to the cloud. It can over to my new phone and the sms worked, but had absolutely none of my data but my profile. It like all that back and restore shit is a lie. Ima have to ask people that I should know their numbers but heart, what their numbers are.i don’t think app data is compatible on transfers from each platform.
