With all do respect from some of your postings it seems like you already know the possibility of what could happen and already have a certain level of regret before it has happened. So if you truely feel some way just don't see him. Mistakes are easier avoided than corrected.
 
@Race Jones why don't you bring someone with you. Traveling to someone's city and meeting them in person for the first time by youself doesn't sound safe to me. But maybe I have just seen a lot of bad in my time and I don't understand how that works
