I saw the first one of the new entry it was aight. It ain't really been too many good ass movies in the past 10 years tho. Idk if movies just don't appeal to me like they used too or they just wacker

Kicking it with my homegirl last night stay meeting new people whenever I get a homegirl. One of her friends is a teacher who about to hit 30 and she been shot before I was like damn. And then this New Orleans dude broke down why he voted for Trump and why his best friend is white.

Wait @Wife of Sam you saw planet of the apes and didn't cheer for the apes?

I don't believe in sequels but I love the POA franchise. Then again, I used to watch the original ones when I was younger.

It's about the only time I'm ok with niggas being compared to apes cause them apes were real af. Also, it's called planet of the apes because they win in the end! They get rid of their oppressors and conquer the world, lol. This is just part of the story of how they got there. The older movies show them running thangs.

I doubt they remake all of the movies though... So if you're pissed that the ones they chose to do center around the enslavement era then yeah, I get that. But it really is a tale of triumph if you follow the whole series.
