Alright. Here's my plan to have a house built with no debt in 3 yrs

1) Buy some land in the hood for about 10k cash
2) Build a tiny house on it about 700 sq ft for about 25k via a loan. about 400 a month for 4-5 years
3) Stack money and budget
4) Build that bitch

Why build a tiny house in the hood though?

Id rather have manageable debt and live in a decent sized house in a nice area

Tiny house is the first step until I can save and build my real house out right. Refer to my comments about moving out the hood for the "nice area" part.

if you can get a $25k loan, you can get the house in the hood...paid off

He had one built, his old ass aint doing no labor like that lol.
He does want me to be the general contractor on my build though. I dont know about that though.

from what you just said...you gonna get a lot for $10k, build a small house for $25k and try to get another later?
thats $35k plus interest.

wait and save up $20k

or just take your time and search the hood for a house that needs work...its plenty of cribs in the hood that need work thats like $20k, clean and clear.......make it into a duplex with a bit of time. and rent out part of it while living in the other part of it.
that way you get rent money, you got your own money that your stacking....find another house that needs work.....move in and rent out the second part of the first house while fixing up the second house....

now you have 2 units generating income...you living somewhere else....

rinse and repeat.

dont overlook the hood as being a starting point to financial freedom
