I just had an idea of putting some rosemary stems underneath the skin of a whole chicken dipped in olive oil and throwing it on the grill. I'm thinking it will give it a smoked rosemary taste (whatever that tastes like) but I want another flavor to offset it. I'm thinking a citrus/sweet combo, maybe a vinaigrette type. Any suggestions?
