ABW finance team. I need your help.

Trying to figure out what to use to save up for some big time trips.

I want a savings account that I can push money to that I can take the money out after about a year with no penalties.
CD or Money market? I want something with a high interest rate.
 
My mama really think I’m crazy. She got reason to though.

I just called her to ask her if she has a PhD. I already know she does. So, she says duh. So, I said I knew you was a playa hater, that’s why you got that degree.

I have kids so if I want to take my kids to south Africa for a week trip.

That is 4 tickets (non-economy) - 2000 each = $8000
Hotel - 200 a day = $1400
Attractions - 5days * 4 people * $100 a ticket = 2000
Food - 80 a day * 7 days * 4 people = $2240
Misc = $1000

for one trip to Cape Town and Jo-burg = $14,460

Yeah I am saving up for that because I still have to do little trips with the kids for summer and spring every year. Plus I go home with the fam to my hometown twice a year. That is easily $4000 each trip.

When you single with no kids it is easy to just go!
