How many of yall know a couple that's just married legally but they don't live together? My grandparents haven't lived together for like 40 years according to my dad but yet they still legally married. Is it an old person thing or what?
It kinda came outta left field when my dad first mentioned it on the way to me seeing them for the first time, like "oh yea, they haven't been together for 40 years". I knew people separated like recap said but for 40 years!? Cot damnits an old person thing, my grandparents were like that. I thought were divorced until it turned out they were just separated for like 30 years. I think divorce was in some ppl's minds reserved for when u plan on remarrying in the future.
Yeah, basically I just find it weird how nowadays most people woulda called it quits legally a long time before 40 yearsSo they're separated?
