The Biden Administrations Black Agenda Thread

Muthafuccas gonna be unhappy no matter what his plan looks like. He can have a plan that covers EVERYTHING. The fake woke/hoteps...the "voting is pointless"...the "nothing will change"...the "I'm waiting for the mythical politician who's flawless and ONLY focuses on us and no one else to appear" folks will still have an issue.

We want shyt to get done and our agenda met? Start wit local & state level. Also...understand how government works. Shyt won't get done until it passes thru both the house AND senate. So all you ABW Georgia posters...make sure you show up & show out for those Senate races. Just like you did for presidential. There's no excuse.

Folks always wanna complain and talk about whats wrong, but don't wanna do anything to resolve it. Yes we need to make sure we hold ALL politicians accountable. But people need to understand we gotta do our part as well. Just voting isn't enough. We must be a united front in order to achieve the things we demand.

This, commit to the revolution, or commit to a plan to all of us out of here

I think all this is fine but not all black peoples require the same.

That's true, but I don't think anyone expects the government to pander to the needs of every individual black person. This country led by the government made specific moves to hurt black people. The government now should make specific moves to redress the harms done in the past. No effort they make will affect every black person the same, but just like the bad policies the government enacted had a large scale impact on the black community, good policies could do the same.

and while i agree .....like i keep saying...whos gonna be uncomfortable for black people?

if you raise up black people......that comes at the cost of someone elses lifestyle.

this is why people try so hard to keep black people where we are.

think about the statement.....why dont they buy houses in good places. but then when black people move into those places....them same people dont want black people there. they say get a home in a better place but not where i live. because it makes them feel like black people can obtain the same as them....

they dont really want us having what they have no matter what they say. they need us poor and low income and dependent on the system that keeps them where they are.

they dont like blips in the matrix.

Anyone familiar with how lobbying works in order to get certain legislation passed?

How can we employ those kind of tactics to get the kinda shit we want done accomplished?

No, we did not understand.

Best just keep donating countless hundreds of thousand$$$$ to Paypal,Kickstarter,Crowdfunding,GoFundMe to fund documentaries so they can than be sold to us. Surely that's a better usage of financial power than"buying" a lobbyist to push our agenda in
D.C. like all the rest of ethnic groups

You think your daddy is the only one exploiting black trauma?

That can easily apply to the Umar Johnsons,Boyce Watkins,Jay Morrisons,Young Pharaohs etc.etc.out here

And because you're too much of chicken shit blinded by lips service and token suggestions. You can't see the fact these characters are nothing than more parasites feeding off of black pain.No better the Christian Church and Democrats they criticize

Your vitriol for those names speaks to how you feel about black people, not them. Your FIXATION on these men opposed to actual harmful white people is peak cognitive dissonance

Its not even about them tho, you think black people are stupid. You pretend they being swindled to justify being obsessed with those dudes.

Do you realize all types of black elite willfully donate to those people. Drs, lawyers, scholars, people who are smarter, more successful and paid than you are, frankly. They do not feel they are being ripped off so who tf are you to insist they are?

Brothers offer goods and services. People buy...by choice. Fair exchange. Honest transaction. Get over this odd fixation bruh

Time & again, you've shown you are not intellectually nor emotionally mature enough to understand why so many of us in the diaspora take issue as to how these hustlers, charlatans and capitalists distorted and perverted what it truly means to be conscious and pro-black.

So just leave it alone........

“Start on a state level” “learn how government works”

aka

“Stay in yo fucking place”

Of course people know how government works and people do elect politicians on a state level. Why does it make people upset to want something?

It doesn’t have to be reparations . It could be something simple like making property values in certain zip codes appraise for 20% more, allowing people to refinance and actually invest back into their neighborhoods. lowering mortgages that were unfair to begin with.

Biden and Harris could never actually address the problems on that type of level because “women” and “people of color” wouldn’t benefit from direct actions, unless they actually were black or Hispanic or lived in the neighborhood. But as we know, we don’t own much of nothing in our neighborhoods. So the opportunity zones and groundwork for gentrification means nothing.

“start on a state level”

Isn’t a state level how Biden and Harris both started? By the backing of the people in their state’s? Both were put in place by the help of the black vote on a state level. The black vote within the 50 states provided them a win in a national level.

By yall own logic starting on a state level produces complete fucking garbage.

Remember before Biden won y’all was only voting for him to get rid of Trump. Now people talking like he’s our last hope for real.

Same shit under Biden. Big banks. Bailouts. Tax breaks. Small wins for isolated groups that will be touted as major victories. I’m going to keep going to work and start looking at stocks more serious. Same shit. New day.

I'm not trying to be facetious, but maybe this will help better understand how things work, and why local & state elections matter, maybe even more then Presidency. As they immediately impact your life

Need representation that can speak directly to important members of congress, in particular that rep has to be a voice for a large voting block or obscenely large amount of money

What's your solution, like in all seriousness

In other words you're gonna keep taking shots at umar in threads about cupcakes or dinosaurs

Even if what you're saying is a completely true you pretend they alone are worst ills in the black community. They live 100% rent in your head, you always wedge "anti woke" commentary in your posts, whereas you don't even as much as lend your condolences in police brutality threads. Am i lying?

Ya know what would really stop the charlatans from looting our community?

Ending racism

Lets take out white supremacy and put Tariq out of a hustle... doesn't that make sense? Nah huh..

I just gave a pretty simple idea on how to directly help. lol
Let me read it again I didn't get that from your post.

I read the top bypassed a good little piece in the middle and and down to the Biden session. Wasn't coming at you, was sincerely asking. As far as the idea how-do-you-do that though in the sense of value increase for neighborhoods... Isn't the desire from people to live there necessary for that to occur correct me if I'm wrong

People want to live there and you have families who build their entire life around living there. From jobs to daycare. Republicans and Democrats both know this that’s why they give out tax breaks for big corporations to build in these neighborhoods. Opportunity zones getting shit built in thee same neighborhoods.
Are you referring to poorer areas or urban overall?

Ok. Your question was about people have to desire to live there. There are already people living in poor areas and urban areas.
OK so I always thought in order to create an increase in value there has to be an outside desire to want to reside in a location, so I'm saying how do you create value increase? Is it really just that simple by fixing up the houses and how much value can it go up based on neighborhoods?
