If Biden were to admit his guilt, he should no longer be the presumptive nominee and removed completely as a candidate. Simple.

You realized the flaw in your question and have now tried to change it because I did, indeed, answer your questions.

As you've now realized, if Biden came out tomorrow, as you initially asked, and admitted guilt then he would not be the nominee coming out of the convention. My answer would be exactly what would happen.

You frame everything it terms of pure thought experiments in a vacuum.

You sat on your moral high horse all day long about Bernie Sanders’ “integrity” with his decision to endorse Joe Biden.

Check the edit. Why would I not vote for the democratic nominee in that scenario? It wouldn't be Biden against Trump. It'd be Bernie or Warren. Keep up, man.

I edited it so that it wasn’t redundant. I already explained the first half of the question in the preceding paragraph so it didn’t need to be stated again.

YOU are STILL deflecting.

I didn’t ask if you would vote for Bernie or Warren.

I asked if you would vote for BIDEN against Trump if he was the nominee and you knew he raped Tara Reade.

In the scenario that you posed, there is no way in hell Biden is still the nominee. None. He doesn't even make it to the convention. So I would be voting for whoever came out the convention as nominee.

Answer:

If Biden admitted to rape today, since it's now "tomorrow", he would be removed from being a candidate. So I would be voting for the eventual democratic nominee in November. It isn't rocket science.

This is 5 or 6 times that you have chosen to hide behind your perceived implausibility of the scenario.

As opposed to simply answering the question at face value.

I believe there is a reason for that.


I KNOW Joe Biden has questionable character and is a terrible candidate. I have no delusions about his moral standing in the world. Seven other women have accused him of inappropriate touching. There is video of him sniffing the hair of adolescent girls in the Oval Office.

I would not be surprised if he did rape Tara Reade. And that may very well be the case - just as she and other people have suggested and corroborated.

I don’t presume to know either way.

Regardless, I am STILL voting for Joe Biden in November. Because he is better than Trump. PERIOD.

Is this situation fucked up? YES.

That is just one of the reasons it is fucked up.

Any suggestion that she is telling the truth triggers your own cognitive dissonance and you will react aggressively against anyone who challenges that world view.
