Breaking News Texas Mall Shooting multiple fatalities

It does take a level of know how and preparation.

When’s the last time you shot a gun or went target shooting? How accurate were you?

I clearly dont fuck with guns like that at all so im not gonna be accurate at all.

It was said this 12 year old pulled out and shot 6 times. I think its pretty rational to deduce if you pull out some shit and lick off six shots at someone or a group of people that aint expecting it the likliehood of you hitting and/or killing someone or multiple someones aint gonna be that small. And it wouldnt take much pre-planning to do something like that

I get what you're trying to say but it really doesn't take much skill to take a gun into a crowded area and pull the trigger. This what I meant before when I said responsible gun owners often assume everyone else is like them when that's not the reality. It doesn't take much skill or practice to let off a clip or two into a crowd of people or a public place and hit them. It takes skill to be accurate but these people often aren't aiming for accuracy they're aiming for as much damage caused as possible which are two different goals in their minds

precisely the point I was attempting to make

You don't need to be all that accurate to do damage when you're intentionally picking crowded or closed off places and packing weapons that let you fire off shots quickly and carry a lot of ammo.

you’re right; it doesn’t take much “skill” to take a gun into a crowded area and pull the trigger.

Ok.

You’re right; however, I was asking INORI a question about HIS shooting.

Right, but it was ridiculous to conflate a kid shooting someone with an “assault rifle” and a mass shooter.

2 separate things.

a child shot a dude multiple times. I merely pointed that out since yall said it took skill and planning to do massive damage in a short span of time

And that was ridiculous to even say.

It had nothing to do with me saying that mass shooters, like the one this thread is about, plan their attacks for months.

You mentioning the kid murderer was in poor taste. It added nothing to your point, my man.

Well I did say it was a flippant remark. Perhaps the frequency of these shitty events is having a numbing affect

Maryland Gov. Wes Moore signed gun-control measures into law on Tuesday, after lawmakers passed measures this year in response to a U.S. Supreme Court ruling.

The high court’s ruling in New York State Rifle and Pistol Association v. Bruen last year ended a requirement similar to a Maryland law for people to demonstrate a particular need to get a license to carry a concealed gun in public.

One of the measures Moore signed Tuesday removes the “good and substantial reason” language from Maryland law that the court found unconstitutional in the Bruen case. But the Maryland General Assembly, which is controlled by Democrats, also tightened gun laws to prevent someone from carrying a concealed handgun in certain areas.

One of the bills signed by the governor generally prohibits a person from wearing, carrying or transporting a gun in an “area for children or vulnerable adults,” like a school or health care facility. The new law, which takes effect Oct. 1, also prohibits a person from carrying a firearm in a “government or public infrastructure area,” or a “special purpose area,” which is defined as a place licensed to sell alcohol, cannabis, a stadium, museum, racetrack or casino.

The law also prohibits a person carrying a firearm from entering someone’s home or property, unless the owner has given permission. There are exemptions for law enforcement, security guards and members of the military.

Gun-rights activists already are planning to challenge the legislation in court.

Living in MD for 20 some years I thought this was already a law

This is how it was in Michigan until several years ago. It used to be incredibly hard to get a conceal permit. You basically had to be doing bank drops with huge sums of money multiple times a day in order to get one.
