From a quality standpoint, definitely. But the studios needs to be convinced a film can make profit. Into The Spider-Verse only made 190 mill domestically so maybe a TMNT has a similar trajectory with a sequel

Basically copied Spiderverse’s style.
That being said, I ain’t even mad at it. This was super dope! The soundtrack was crazy! Playing Gucci Wake Up in the Sky was perfect placement. Loved Ice Cube’s portrayal, shit was perfect. Superfly’s character design was dope too.
I haven’t watched all of the TMNT renditions, but this is the first I’ve known where they actually act like teenagers.
Also liked that the mutants all linked up instead of being villains. Shredder’s absence wasn’t even missed and it was a good choice to leave him out and focus on mutants.

Rewatching with my little one now. So dope how they animated the scene where they were fantasizing about helping people and going to high school. They drew the turtles exactly how we used to draw them as kids back in the day, lol.
