Deck's album (along with a few others) got ruined in the flood in RZA's basement. It had to be reworked or salvaged. U-God...well it's not like people were lining up to get his album. Honestly, he was a victim of timing. When he wanted to come out, Meth, Dirty, Ghost, GZA and Rae were in high demand. Even with pushing the video game at the same time didn't help.

You're right. Plus this is 2 years after the fuck hot 97 thing and the lack of radio play behind it. Plus, hip hop was changing and the south started to become a force

I agree. The OG version of Femme Fatale is floating around on YouTube. That was one of those songs that were recreated. Just like a few of the second round of solo albums from the Clan (with the exception of Supreme Clientele), the album has a few dope songs.

I think Deck's album was affected by the flood and wrong timing.
