Most legacy acts can still tour and make good money. With that said, Styles P is the perfect example of how to move after you're past your peak in hiphop. He's made multiple businesses including a popular juice bar. He's made connections with other people in the game and went into business with them and he's still making great music and positioned himself next to younger talent (dave east) and maintained his status and based off the OP he's acting now.
Look at the moves Nas is making the past few years. I wouldn't be surprised if Nas is worth half a billion in the next 10 years.
