I eat stuffing baked in a pan and it has either pecan, giblets or shredded turkey.. Dressing is a sauce you put on your salad. I never ate stuffing out of a bird. Pepperedge farm is the goat stuffing next to home made followed by stove top

Oops my bad its walnuts not pecans. Oysters also go good in stuffing. My folks call it dressing but to me its stuffing. I'm not eating my stuffing out of a hollowed out birds ass.

On a side note can these fast food and restaurant chains hire a sista to educate these franchises on how to make proper Mac and cheese? I'm liking at you KFC. They don't put no egg in it or nothing. I had a Boston market meatloaf dinner the other day and that Mac and cheese was nothing but spiral noodles and cheese sauce. That shit was soupy and nasty.

My family ain't fucking with that stove top stuffing cause if you got that on the table you probably have a can of spam as your center piece

Cornbread
Chopped celery, onion, bell pepper
Chicken and/or turkey broth/stock
Stuffing (herb/cornbread/chicken/turkey flavor)
Cream of chicken/mushroom/celery

Some people use chicken livers and gizzards, but I prefer it w/out. My granny makes hers this way.

My granny won’t give up her recipe. Smh
Shit is life!!

She should pass it down to keep it in the family. I'm still trynna learn recipes from my momma and granny.
My mama got it. My granny is crazy tho. She left out some of the ingredients on purpose so my mama won’t make it like her. My mama figured it out tho.

Like i said. Dressing is mad easy to make. In the end u just cookin cornbread.

Wtf is the difference between the two? This whole time I thought this was like the soda and pop debate and they were the same thing just named called something different depending on the region. I've only heard of stuffing. I've heard of ranch dressing. Caesar salad dressing. Balsamic dressing.
Its basically the exact same, stuffing cooked inside the turkey and dressing is baked in a pan seperate. Personally dressing be dry as fuck and u need something on it like gravy to give it any life.

Not if you cook it right pleighboi
Im just going off 6 different people dressing i had, it all had similar texture. If you vamping it up with broth or something then i can see it but stuffing always was better of the 2 for me.
