They realized that episode complete filler and waste of time. And, rightfully, carried on like it didn't happen.
Not ever mentioning that shit again was a very brave move. They didn’t let their egos get in the way of cutting a terrible plot line.
They can keep this shit. Give me a few seasons of a spin off followed by seasons 6 and 7.
