Steak is trash, but to be fair, I’m certain I’ve never had a good steak. Growing up my parents ruined a lot of foods for me that I just refuse to eat.

Shortly after this thread was made. I told my mama on y’all and told her y’all picked on me and laughed at me for not wanting a steak. She took me to go get one at Outback.

Nah imma tell yall the problem tho.

The cut of steak makes all the difference.

Those with less fat content are not as good as the steaks that have more marbeling/higher fat content are always better.

But if you know how to cook a steak, any cut can be tender if you know how to cook it. Searing it and how you finish it to keep it juicy is key. But the more fat it has usually means it will taste better.

Filet Mignon is the most OVERRATED wack steak there is.
