Stan Lee died a sub-culture, pop culture icon. I'm gonna say he rivals Micheal Jackson in that regard. Hard to imagine a world without his influence at this point. Then he got to live a full life of winning at epic levels with what he loved to do. His legacy is gonna live on past our grand kids grand kids most likely. Only a handful of people are capable of such a feat in man's short existence.
GOAT'ed not just for the story, but for one detail in the first panel: The Avenger's #223 with Hawkeye and Ant Man on the cover, published in 1982. One of the only issues of The Avengers I ever bought.
