Simply put, record labels weren't hellbent on putting this out for public consumption, it doesn't get made.

Ask India what are her experiences with songs she wanted to make and the label told her no because xyz... And to make abc song instead

I don't see how it only listening to drake consistently because I find most mainstream hiphop negative skews anything. I find most of mainstream hiphop negative so I don't listen to most of it. Whats the problem? Im not running around telling anyone not to listen im saying I don't.

The most prolific American music artist isn't doing any of that shit. The most prolific white films/shows aren't about that. At some point you gotta ask yourself why its only black artists/media where the majority of content skews that way. Or don't. But don't piss on me and tell me its rain.

I'm trying to do my part while also acknowledging I too will participate in some fuckery from time to time. I understand it's hypercritical but that's also the cost of this game which is why I'm so thankful that MoeW makes those threads because I wouldn't know about a lot of the music that's out

I don't listen to that hot girl summer music in my alone time or when my daughter is in the car. In the event she gets exposed to it by a girl from her school, and tells me about it, I have the age appropriate conversation with her about why that song is detrimental. I'm trying to do my part
