Welcome To aBlackWeb

I'm thinking theyre going to use the venom gang storyline where there a bunch of Venom knockoffs that was controlled by some company. If I remember correctly it was like 4 or 5 Venoms that Brock had to take out. I'm sure Carnage will be at the end of this movie.

they're doing the Lethal Protector story arc

The venom movie has to have some reference to spiderman to let us no he exist in this universe. Maybe a mention of a costumed hero stopping bike thrives in queens or a reference to The ferryboat or Washington monument incident.

That would make a little bit of sense if the movie actually took place in New York and not San Francisco for some random ass reason.

Maybe they'll have a stinger at the end where dude moves to NY for a "fresh start"

Why couldn’t Sony just leave the Spider-Man property alone and let the MCU handle it? I would’ve rather seen what the MCU would’ve done with the Venom storyline.

Because they don't want the license to lapse over to marvel

They will make a movie, even if it sucks to fulfill their contract

But I thought whenever they put out a Spider-Man movie that they automatically retain the rights?

I think it's for any of the characters they have. Like they have to put out some sorta marvel movie every so many years to keep the characters they have

But it might be just for spidey

Thinking back on it, they did the trailer releases perfectly for this movie. The teaser was such a tease since they didnt even show venom but each trailer release showed a little bit more but didnt feel like they gave away the story too much either. Kinda hyped af for this movie now when i didnt plan to be at all.
