They did a bad job of arguing the point. They are making it seem as though we don't want sure process. We do want that. We just don't believe it will be a fair trial because the system is set up to favor people like Chauvin.

This has to be one of the weakest defense arguments ever made

I ain't even mad at his defense attorneys. What can you say to defend the indefensible?

It's sort of like that second impeachment with Trump. Everybody knew that he played a part in inciting the insurrection, so what could his attorneys have said that wouldn't have been stupid?

The only difference between the two situations is that we all knew Trump would get off. We can still have some small hope that Chauvin will get what he deserves.
