We need to see more of this. American politicians get light work and soft balls when it comes to scrutiny compared to other countries leaders. Trump would've never gotten to power if he was pushed like this with people.

They've got about 1000 civil cases on their hands across the country, should lawyers want them.

Authorities say they have arrested a man who identified himself as a member of “Southern Slaves” — a group that “actively recruits people to violently protest the government” — for damaging and vandalizing multiple patrol cars during a protest against police brutality last month in Miami.
Marco Antonio Lopez, 21, of Miami was arrested Saturday for the May 30 incident and has been charged with two counts of criminal mischief, inciting a riot and resisting an officer without violence, Miami police said.
Police said Lopez described “Southern Slaves” as a group that is against police brutality, but advocates riots and violent. He allegedly told police that “walking around the city won’t do anything, sooner or later you have to turn to violence,” according to an arrest report.

Its more than vague. That shit is terrible and not thought out at all. They're bout to use that message against us to quickly gather votes by saying, "Vote Trump, these dems wanna defund the polie. They wanna get rid of of cops"
My guess is to lower the budget that militarizes them. Not every police station needs machine guns, surplus military body armor and tanks.
Like another poster pointed out, you see all these police stations always full of shiny new toys for no reason. Meanwhile other government facilities are constantly underfunded and always have budget cuts.
Our country literally, constantly has money for guns and bombs but, somehow cant afford healthcare for our citizens, education, help our homeless or keeping our infrastructure from crumbling.
