I’ll give Drew Brees a little credit, he hasn’t just stuck to a weak apology and hoped we’d just move on. He at least appears to understand what the issue is now. I’m pretty sure he’ll kneel during the anthem for at least a few games this season. Everything else may just end up being empty words but he seems like he’s trying.

Lowkey corona might be the best thing that happened with this situation. Country on lockdown, sports shut down and everyone at home forced ppl to pay attention. Ppl literally ain't have nothing better to do than go protest and talk about it.

Ppl was already fed tf up with the govt response to corona in the first place. Then corporations get hundreds of millions in relief while the rest of us get 1200. Then black ppl get killed by cops and racist whites weeks apart (or at least when we heard about it) which is something govt been brushing off for centuries. The perfect storm couldn't have happened to a better president.
