I think a lot of people have had their eyes open, and of course, a lotta people just goin' along. But even that's better than them just goin' along with racism like before.

He can control where the funds go. Right now it's too many fundraisers out there and some of em janky. Better to let the smoke clear.

I forgot who it was, but someone in one of them versus threads said Ice Cube probably wont play some of his NWA and early solo shit cause he would be scared to lose his family man movies and BIG3 sponsors.

All this when Cube has never bit his tongue. Hes been making wholesome movies at the sametime bigging up Farrakhan publicly all this time and still dropping controversial records.

Cube is such an anomaly cause hes one of the most successful people to come out of hip hop, and he came out screaming fuck the police, and then moved to making family movies without ever biting his tongue in public or apologizing for his old shit.

One day last week after watching all the news I threw on The Predator album in the car. Man that album is a tremendous soundtrack for what's happening right now. I can't even remember the last time I heard a rapper straight up go at white people like Cube did. I mean straight up calling them crackers on songs and shit and everything said on that album still holds true to this day. Crazy.

Exactly. Cube was fucking hardcore even for the early 90s.
