Based on the hour or so of the game that I’ve seen mixed with reviews, I think a 7 is generous

I played the beta shit they had last week. It wasn't that bad. My initial reaction was "This is better than Starfield". Like many of the reviews the most trash parts are being able to board other ships and actually fight to takeover the ship. It's just a cutscene. And you can't go on land to collect material like wood etc. You pull up next to the beach and play a mini game. I don't see it having a strong community like Sea Of Thieves to support it in the long run.
