Yes you should.
We are social creatures. Our interactions with friends, family and associates are largely dependent upon public perception...
People are quick to say that they don't Care what others think or
say about them...... and just about everything they do or day suggests otherwise.....
Everytime someone says they don't Care about what people think about them I'm like.....:idkb3:

Nah b, I aint buying that. People who care too much about what people think end up committing suicide or going crazy, I'ma keep doing me and not giving a fuck.
Thing is, I crack jokes all the time. I like to think of myself as funny and witty. Like I legit pride my self on those things as a two of the greatest attributes of my character. I fancy myself as a clever and intelligent person with great insight, and an awesome sense of humor.
And I can pretend all day I don't Care what people think about me. But if anyone was like
"that nigga du Swear he funny. Nigga corny as shit. Like you can tell he dumb as fuck too. I be surprised if he graduated highschool. Dude just mad boring and uninteresting"
Play it off as I may. That shit would sting. I'd prolly even write that person off as a hater. But it would bother me.
And we're all fragile like that. Regardless of how much we'll never admit to it. Like the one thing about yourself you feel most defines yourself. If anyone observed you and said you were bad at that thing. You'd catch feelings almost immediately.
Tell a proud parent they're a horrible parent. Even if they keep their cool.... In their mind they like:mf1:

Like I get it, its cool to say you dont Care what people think, however you running a social interactive site and engaging in heavy debates with folk over different opinions all suggests you place a high value in the thoughts of others.

like you can't underplay the importance of social interaction and it's influence on your behavior.....
it's not a sign of weakness to admit you care what people think about you....it's an acceptance and awareness of your human nature....the second you become aware, the instant you can take better control over these type things....
people who really don't care what others think display mad behavior that goes outside of societal norms....they do shit that's often considered werido or even criminal....the shit can be diagnosed as a mental disorder, because by large normal motherfuckers care about what people think about them.....
the whole reason you can make your argument for future is because of our confidence in your ability to debate the topic. that confidence comes from positive reinforcement from previous arguments.....it's the response and impression your argument makes on others that determines how strong you believe in your abilities to make an argument for the topic.....
this is you caring what others think about you and your opinion on a certain subject.....that shit applicable to mad aspects of your life.....because you constantly compare and contrast your experiences to your peers
the clothes you wear... the chicks you bag....the car you drive...

when someone complements you on your style, your ride, your hair, or anything that defines you as a person... it makes you feel good...
the whole reason compliments work is because knowing that someone likes or is interested in something your doing makes you feel good...
