Unshakeable Unbreakable Victorious
'I'm divorcing my wife over her OnlyFans account - I can't stand the shame'

A man has said he is filing for divorce from his wife after she started an OnlyFans account - and it's really dividing opinion.

The husband explained that his wife has always been very active on social media and gained thousands on followers on Instagram through her posts.

When one of his wife's friends told her how much money she makes through sharing adult content on the paid-for subscription platform OnlyFans, and how "freeing" it was, she informed her husband she was going to sign up.

He said she had always been "a free spirit" and revealed her plan to quit her job once she got built up a profitable fan base.

But he says the decision has not only angered him, but upset their 11-year-old daughter whose friends teased her about it when her mum put a poll on Instagram asking if her followers would like to see her join OnlyFans.

He wrote on Reddit: "Now I’m strictly against this for two reasons: for my own personal reasons and because we have kids. I told her that I’m uncomfortable dating a sex worker and that our eldest has social media and so do her friends, this would ruin her."

After his wife posted the poll on social media, he continued: "Our daughter screamed at her mother and nasty words were exchanged. They are not talking and this was two weeks ago," Yahoo reports.

"My wife went ahead and made the account and already posted some pictures.

"Yesterday I told her I’m filing for divorce and I’d ask for full custody. I can’t stand the shame and our daughter is heartbroken and being bullied at school.

"I’m beyond p***ed, I never thought my life would lead here."

After asking for opinions on whether he had overreacted, one person replied to slam him, writing: "What kind of outdated 18th century mindset do you have, thinking an OnlyFans account 'brings shame upon your family and children'?!?!

"Your daughter getting teased because her mom has an OF account is BS. Someone needs to teach her how to stand up for herself and her mom's bodily autonomy, and that sex work is real work."

A second said: "You have a family. You don’t just run the second there’s conflict. Go see a couples therapist, work on your issues. Tearing your family apart over this is weak."

But others defended him stating they would consider the decision to be a "form of cheating", arguing: "She violated your boundaries for the relationship and continued to do what she wanted without sparing a thought to you or her daughter."

And another said: "Your children are negatively affected and such a major lifestyle change requires mutual agreement in a partnership."

What’s there to be ashamed about?

What kinda stuff is she doing?

It’s my understanding that some of those chicks make some serious bread.

Seems he wasn't cool with it and she did it anyway. Kind of messed up. Should have been a mutual decision IMO

I'm curious what she was putting on IG to have thousands of followers though. She just asked all her friends and followers if they wanna see her nude on onlyfans lol I can see why he's not happy

Don't know how you'd fix the problem with the kid getting bullied at school.

I've seen some post up pictures of statements showing hundreds of thousands before taxes
I think Brittanya makes over a million

fuck that bringing shame to your child and disrespecting your spouse is grounds for divorce

Life must be hard for it to come this decision
Which decision?

The wife deciding to do OF or the husband's decision to divorce?

If the former, it just sounds like her "free spirit" ass liked the attention she was getting on IG and wanted to extend that to OF so she could really get down.

Like most of these IG/OF chicks they do it for the attention...any bread they get is a bonus.

Damn imagine wanting money/attention so bad that you get into a shouting match with your 11 year old and still go through with it.

Dude fucked up for marrying that personality right there. No way this was the first selfish shit she ever did.

Good counter

The more I think about it, I'm not sure if it's a call for attention or a need of money but it shouldn't be either or.

I'm assuming but also seems like communication is also non existent. If it was either of those situations, some hard conversations should've taken place

That's a perspective.

Howwwever, the article states she came to him and told him this is what she was going to do. She also told him when she built up a big enough fan base, that she would quit her job. Family's objections/feelings be damned, she'd made her decision.

So, seems to me like they'd had some hard conversations...she just wants to do whatever she wants to do
