And no, it's not semantics with AD. You said that I said just today that I hate him when I never said that. Go to court and say that shit under oath and see if you get to say "oh you know what I was trying to say". Whatever you say is on the record and will be brought back up if the situation calls for it. In other words, you couldn't make the point you wanted to if you said what I really said so you took what I said, and interpreted it to what you wanted to push your narrative and try to make this a gotcha moment, then when I addressed it, then it's "oh it's semantics". If you can't make your point using the exact words that I've typed, then maybe the point you're trying to make doesn't exist which should be ok. At least to me.
I do not hate that man on any level. I do not know him outside of his ability to put a ball in a hoop. I'm typically a team over an individual player with certain exceptions. What he did to get his way to LA is still some bitch shit imo and will be for the foreseeable future. I've hated the Lakers since forever. He went there and it's fuck both of them. I can joke with the best of them so that's never an issue. The issue is the lack of nuance that Silver has touched on. Not everything should be taken literally. There should be some room for nuance, but let's say I did actually say I hate AD. Does that mean if I saw him I would want to physically harm him? No. Would I want to take a pic with him? No, but I don't do that as a matter of personal principle with high profile people. When AD leaves a game with an injury, when with the Lakers, I wish that man a speedy recovery. I've never been like "I hope he miss the rest of the season". That's super lame to me.

But you know what, if they say they are jokes, then they are jokes. But when certain people have a history of trying to shit on females, then it's hard for me to take these "jokes" as such
I know what nuance means which is why I used it and it's severely lacking on this site because a ton of topics are only viewed through the lenses of black/white, either/or.
