This isn't about mental health.
It's about too many people taking advantage of this newfound concern for mental health and using it as a cop-out for their poor decisions.
I don't believe for one second that any of these women are actually suffering from mental illness or on the verge of a breakdown.
They're just taking advantage of what people are letting them get away with.

I don't think we all ever have every single detail about a subject every single time we choose to engage in a back and forth.
I'm not trying to go in circles about it either as I've already admitted I didn't have any knowledge of the tweet prior to my thoughts about how others were responding to her loss.
At the end of the day, once I got more information, my opinion changed, slightly, but it changed and that should be ok.

If you really look at the context in which these women are using the mental health angle...........you'd have a better understanding of what's really going on.
If a male athlete like Lebron or Giannis decided they needed to take a break from the playoffs to focus on their mental health........people on a whole wouldn't be as forgiving or understanding.
So, if we're all supposed to be equal..........then these women should be held to the same level of scrutiny.

I remember one indoor meet at EMU, one of the team was talking mega shit, to the point where even coach was like "You better back that shit up! Don't fuck around and lose, it ain't gonna be pretty". Dude got out there and ain't qualify for shit! Just choked in every single event he ran like he was eatin' a Popeye's biscuit with nothing to drink. We lit his ass up on the way home. 45 minutes of a whole old-school Suburban full of dudes crashin on his ass and he was sittin' in the back like ole dude in Belly on the couch.
