These posts were back to back. I kid you not.
That there is nothing more dense than willfully hiding behind verbiage and semantics as if you don’t know exactly what others are talking about.your point is?
Washington has the 20th lowest violent crime rate in the nation. Lower than the national average. Not sure it can be labeled "dangerous".And it won’t change a damn thing.
Washington is dangerous and is gonna get more dangerous because of shit that has fuck all to do with “assault weapons”.

It's just crazy how this always ends as a debate about guns and not about the people who are being shot and killed.
It's just crazy how this always ends as a debate about guns and not about the people who are being shot and killed.
The debate comes when people start speaking from emotion about what needs to be done instead of looking at the data that exists to figure out a logical solution.
First thing they say is "Ban AR15's!!!"
But once you point out that the overwhelming majority of schools shootings were committed with handguns they're still on "ban AR15's!!!". Virginia Tech is STILL the deadliest school mass shooting of all time and dude used a 9mm Glock and .22LR Walther handguns. but they're still on "Ban AR15's!!!". Point out that from 2000 to 2018 only ONE school mass shooting used an AR15 and the rest used handguns and it's still "hurr durr, ban AR15's!!!"
This is why the debate happens: Logic and data versus emotions. Trying to find a way to make us actually safe versus doing something to "feel safe".
