Niggas online ratting then calling it content
Smh
NFTs are stupid because they are basically taking the ecosystem of piracy, slapping encryption on it and then telling someone to pay for some shit that can be copied over and over and over.
NFTs are trying to place value on things that hold no value in the digital space to normal people. Once MP3s came out, the economics of the CD changed the point that music holds no value to the consumer other than the enjoyment they get from listening to it. And even then, people can't justify paying for something that is ubiquitous.
Copyrights and ownership in reality, was only enforced due to the fact that we didn't have the technology to reproduce shit. Now you can find every single album, book, movie, ever made on the internet. Who the fuck is paying for this shit other than middle men, so they can pimp the shit to content distrubtors who are gonna sell it to the consumer on some bullshit subscription model?
These crypto nerds are trying to hold back progress with this NFTs shit. Nobody cares to "legally" own art anymore because its every where.
Shit, music publishing rights has been worthless as fuck since Napster came out and the industry knows it. Unless you owning the Beatles or Michael Jackson or the Rolling Stones, most artists catalogs are worthless compared to other assets out there.
Isn't that how anything holds value when it comes to economics. Value for most things are imaginary.
Idk, something not adding up. I thought Dame been sold his share of Roc, but he's saying he's selling it currently..I don't get it either.I'm confused on what Dame means by he's shopping around because Jay Low Balled him on 1/3 of Rocafella when Dame sold his share of Rocafella.
Maybe he means the Rocafella material he may have rights and publishing from?
Roc A Fella is still a label/company/ businessIdk, something not adding up. I thought Dame been sold his share of Roc, but he's saying he's selling it currently..I don't get it either.
And another thing, I don't understand the logic in selling your 3rd by putting the first ever NFT of RD on any market whatsoever and expect it not to conflict with no other ownership rights
Roc A Fella is still a label/company/ business
Dame owns 1/3 rd of the company, the company s only asset is Reasonable Doubt. So by owning 1/3 of the company he basically owns 1/3 of Reasonable Doubt
Dame is trying to sell his 1/3share of the company
It’s his 1/3.... he can doMinting the first ever NFT of Reasonable Doubt would mean the co has now acquired an additional, new asset altogether. Cool. But where he tripping is when he decide to not only put this 1 of 1, newly created co. asset on public display but also made it available for purchase as if it exist in a bubble of its own apart from all other ownership. I don’t understand how he wouldn’t see a problem in that. Lol.
obviously not true if he's being sued for doing itIt’s his 1/3.... he can do
What he wants w it
Judge approved the sale of it .... the lawsuit was to alt the sale In order for Jay to figure some shitobviously not true if he's being sued for doing it
he can sell his 3rd, but if he mints a new NFT asset and sells it he will owe Jay. The asset itself is a new whole, and therefore his share is 1/3 of it, if that. He doesn't get to sell the whole new asset as if it represents his 1/3 alone in a bubble, like he acting. So if he sells it he will owe Jay. You gotta watch Dame. It’s his 1/3.... he can do
What he wants w it
