I noticed a lot of brothas who's father wasn't in their lives, making sure they turn out to be the OPPOSITE of them.

My brotha-n-law is by far one of the best fathers I've ever met. His dad wasn't there for him. So it seem like he made it his mission to be there for his kids.

i dont think this has the mythical 1:1 comparison tho

I mean, dont get me wrong, i think there are some major influences that ultimately HELP...key word, HELP shape you, but you could still at some point decide thats not the life you wanna live. e.g. b/c alcoholism runs through your family, or more specifically, the men, doesnt mean you will or have to accept that and then have issues with alcohol.

like just because your pops may have cheated on your mom, doesnt mean that he passed on some cheating gene to you. You just might like outside/new pussy or you could have a problem with commitment that has more to do with previous relationships and not b/c your dad was a habitual cheater.

My intelligence from my mother and grandmother, and my logical, stoic side from my pop. Temper comes from my uncle.
 
I would say more my mum because she raised me, but recently I have started to create my own characteristic traits that I am trying to pass down to my kids, my mother would get stressed easily and as a result she passed that down to me, all that shit is starting to change now that I am taking control of my mind and becoming the person that I want to be.
 
i have my father s skin tone ( my mother is high yellow)
but i look like my mother

i act just like my father in attitude, temperament and etc...
 
im my dad reincarnated and its a shame cuz I didnt meet the man until I was a teenager

same face, same voice, same hairline, and same thirst for forbidden fruits lol

couldnt shake that nigga if I wanted to

all 3 of my kids look exactly like me despite 1 having a different mother
 
The only thing I can probably say is my intelligence from both of them. Past that... Nothing. I'm genuinely nothing like either of them.
