What are some of the traits you take after?

For me...my Dad.

I didn't even realize this until I got older, and started doing some of the same things he does. For example sittin in a chair and just start rubbing my temples and forehead, as if I'm in deep thought.

We lay on the couch the same way. View life & death kinda the same way.

The only trait that stands out I got from my mama, is her laughter. That and cursing. I'm more extreme wit it than she was. Lol.
 
A wonderful blend of them both.

My daddy and mama both curse like sailors and so do I.

They both have a great sense of humor. I do also.

I got my way of thinking from them both. My mama is a lawyer and my daddy a real nigga. So I'm a blend of an intelligent real nigga.

I get my outgoing ways from my mom and bluntness from my daddy and mama.

My ability to understand and spirit of giving from my mom.
 
A good mix.

I got that spirt of compassion from my mama. And i think that comes from my grandmother who was one of the kindest women ive ever met.

I got my pops temper lol. And we look a lot alike.

I look like my dad more when I don't get a hair for while and my facial hair grows out. I look like him in a lot of his older pics.

Got everything from my mom

Pops unfortunately wasn't active in my life at all once they divorced when I was like 3 I think
 
A mix of both but as i get older im more like my mom. Reserved dont like alot of attention quiet not into scenes. But then when my mood changes im like my dad quick to get annoyed with dumb stuff. Like to get faded and a smart mouth.
 
Although I adored my mother, we were very opposite personalities. I get my quiet nature from my dad although he is more laid back than I am
 
I get my trollish nature and passion for music from my dad, we're basically the same person. As for my mom I like missk said about hers we're complete opposites. It's not a hate thing it's just that we have little in common, she's a very religious old school black mom.
 
I have a mix of both.
My father is very colorful and funny.
Hes loud and quite obnoxious at times too
but hes very expressive....OVERLY EXPRESSIVE.

while my mother is stoic and calm
kind of cold in certain aspects but able to use logic when its most necessary.
she is also a very funny lady and sweet.

both are my parents are very complex individuals and its funny when I see things in me--in them.
 
Both my parents are charming sociopaths and complete jerks....I never had a chance

I learned from their mistakes and had the freedom to make my own. I took from them, the sliver that was good and left the ISH to fester with flies. lol.

At 15, I graduated from high school, moved out and my older and younger brothers followed shortly after. lol. Later I found my parents learning from me. .

Whatever makes a person better.
