Clearly @Thor was wrong. More than half of the people think OB4CL is better. I'm not saying that the poll on ABW is the end all to be all, but Jay Z, and Reasonable Doubt isn't head and shoulders above OB4CL and Wu Tang Clan.

Well I don't know which Wu albums you've heard, but they're all group albums. If you listen to the albums I listed, the main rapper probably raps over half of the beats solo, and the other half of the album has various Wu members spitting verses.

So none of them are really "solo albums".
