Why can't we just think he's not as good as yall are pretending he is?

I've been listening to lupe since the 1&15 mixtapes , the revenge of the nerds (ironically) bs, like me and cain said in this thread, he had a spark when he started but now he's just average. He's not wack, but when yall in here actin like he's the 2nd coming of Nas, i've even seen mfs trying to compare the nigga to Nas, that shit made me sick, he's a cool rapper, not top25 worthy IMO

I gave legitimate reasons to support my position

I never claimed him to be the savior of rap or nothing like that. But you can't deny his talent which I feel a lot of voters are in here doing. If he fake deep, then wtf is Kendrick?

Like I said, if there was one teach that you had to pick from their entire body of work, could someone give me a Cole song that rivals "hamburger with cheese"?

Let's start here, because the conversation got away from being about the music pages ago

Homie bores me to NO END

Out of the 13 projects he has including mixtapes and albums---none of them stick out to me outside of maybe food and liquor

food and liquor was a solid album buttttttttt that's about it

The song is wack imo, sonically this is nothing I want to listen to repeatedly. It's fake deep deep shit. Cole's Can I Live kills this shit, Cole's Lost Ones kills this shit, Cole's False Prophets kills this shit.



 
It's close but I gotta go with lupe on this one, cole is nice but lupe has made me google lyrics trying to understand the shits
