This nigga Cole older than me still rapping about high school and his first time every album....
I ain't gon get into the back and forth because I doubt everyone that has voted has listened to both artist's catalogs in depth to give an opinion
I've listened to more Lupe projects than Cole, but I based my opinion off their albums that were released in the same time frame and again, while I thought FHD was a great album, tetsuo and youth is the better project of the two.
This is almost like the Wayne convo. Does Lupe have some throwaway bars? Sure. Does Cole? Yes. But I know there ain't one record that Cole got that's fucking with Lupe and his "cool" series or records like "deliver" and "burgers with cheese"
Put it like this. If there was only one song that you had to ask someone to listen that would convince someone to give that artist a listen, I would stack "burgers with cheese" against any Cole track and feel confident that if they are being completely unbiased, they would agree that Lupe is a nice ass emcee.
