One of the dopest joints dropped in '94. Erule been dropping singles ever since and dropped his debut album "Cold Currentz" in 2000. He's still spittin and still as sharp as ever.
DJ Quik, Rappin 4 Tay, Too Short, Mos Def and Talib, Kane and Abel, Killer Mike, Joe Budden and Joel Ortiz.
Mike is too raw to be where is. Joe went platinum with his worst song and had one of his best as the damn ending credits on Def Jam Fight for New York or some shit and his mixtapes are basically dope ass albums. Ortiz is just too nice to be constantly touring.

you might wanna take DJ Quik, Short, and Mos Def off that list. DJ Quik is ranked pretty high when it comes to hip hop producers and his first four albums all went gold with the first album going on to sell platinum. His second album peaked at #10 on the Billboard top 200 album chart, the third album (Safe + Sound) hit 14 but also hit #1 on the US R&B chart. Nah, he gets his just due.
