No one has done that either. We listen to his music because we like it. Y'all are the people trying to justify why you stopped listening.
 
Also you're free to live by whatever standards you set for yourself...but that don't mean it's free from criticism from others. You wanna stand on the "I still listen to Seems Like You're Ready" hill then you also gotta be prepared to explain your reasoning...and not with made up terms like manufactured morality

Also, yes, they are alive in both cases. Does that mean they are the same? Are any two crimes where the victim is left alive considered the same level of crime?

Yeah a nigga who spent decades sleeping with underage girls while also singing 90% of the time about sex only got inspiration from those over the age of 18. Nothin creepy or suspicious at all about him writing a song called Age Ain't Nothin But A Number for a teenage girl he slept with then later married.

Saying people have to justify why they're not doing something means there's a desire there to continue. I don't have any urge at all to listen to his music. I grew up with his music just like most people my age did, mid 30s, and it wasn't shit for me to stop.

That's how the world works. People look to whatever people enjoy as a sign of what type of person they are or may be. Somebody likes doing crossword puzzles it's a good chance they enjoy being a wordsmith and people may ask them about it. Somebody enjoys hearing an adult write and sing songs about sex with underage teens...well you can fill in the rest about what people might assume about them.
