Naw they definitely locked up the big homie in November that declared me untouchable... So I started off on my Frank Sinatra shit... Which naturally lead to count basie... The Duke... Nina... And even some Issac Hayes... Then I was like fuck it and just went into my jazz band days bag.....ii played in various jazz bands from ages 14-24... So the bag is deep

You gotta start branching out too. I've posted up a couple of tracks from Hiroshi Suzuki's "Cat" album, which is actually playing on the CD changer right at this moment, but there's a shitload of Jazz from other countries that's pure dope. Do a search on Jazz from places like Japan, Turkey, Mali, Czechoslovakia, Yugoslavia, Congo, etc. You genuinely won't be disappointed.

 
It was some Japanese shit that came on Spotify Wednesday night when I was rolling up....I couldn't tell you what it was called cuz the shit was in that hieroglyphics shit they talk in.... But I do find the jazz more calming during my toothaches

and really it's about the music encouraging a culture of criminality/breaking the law

it's a reach but u could say rap can cultivate a propensity to be reckless and eschew following the law

that def could have a significant influence on someone impressionable
